Through its three facilities in Chesterfield, Michigan, Burtek offers deep expertise in manufacturing complex products. Burtek has created a strong position through its development of IP related to its customized manufacturing processes in coordination with high tech, flexible manufacturing space which can be rapidly reconfigured to meet the needs of any job. Burtek manufacturing is not limited by a fixed floor layout; therefore every job is optimized for efficiency and timeliness. Burtek’s engineering expertise and production capabilities in combination with a culture of innovative and efficient manufacturing is what differentiates Burtek from its competition.
The following table summarizes Burtek’s key in-house production capabilities:

- Burtek maximizes weld quality and strength by rotating the structure so that welding is performed in its ‘true position’ not overhead, and not vertically to significantly reduce production of non-conforming welds
- Burtek welders are certified to American Welding Society (“AWS”) standards B2.1 , C1.1, D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, D9.1, and D17.1
